Occupation:

Tribe Fitness Studio Owner.

The accomplishment you are most proud of:
In November 2017, 2 days after racing my ninth marathon, I opened the doors to my first fitness studio, Tribe Fitness. Tribe is a fitness community in downtown Toronto focused on building community through fitness. We offer three modalities of movement including performance-based indoor cycling, yoga, and running.

Your go-to pre-race meal or ritual:
For lunch before my big race I often do a very veggie filled lean ground beef pasta.

Favourite quote:
We rise by lifting others” – Robert Ingersoll.

Tell us something fun about yourself!:
I love road racing in costume. I've dressed up as Tinker Bell while racing the inaugural Dopey Challenge at Walt Disney World and in Toronto with a group called The Justice League Runners have raced as SuperGirl. It's so much fun.

What 2018 races/events can we find you at?
My goal race this year is the Ironman 70.3 in Atlantic City (also happens to be on my birthday weekend). You can also find me at smaller races leading up to this big day including Toronto Triathlon Festival.

Why Brava?
What excites me about Brava - beyond the great fit and styles - is the fact that they are a Canadian brand, created for and built by women. #GirlPower

Your favourite Brava product and why?
The Botanical Tri Shorts are definitely a favourite of mine. I bought my first pair at the Toronto Triathlon Festival expo. I love the fit. They are the perfect length and the perfect amount of floral without being over the top.
